Tuition and fees rose 7.1 percent for 2018-19 at Paul Mitchell the School-Logan, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Utah students paid $13,600 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $900 more than the $12,700 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 15 students received grants or scholarships totaling $64,925 and 23 students took out student loans totaling more than $193,420.

Including all undergraduates (132), 94 students used grants or scholarships totaling $379,972, and 100 students took out $757,605 in federal student loans.
