The Southern Virginia Knights, featuring former Bear River High School standout Jeffrey Hill, secured a 10-8 win in their NCAA Division III baseball contest against the Methodist Monarchs at Armstrong-Shelley Field on Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m.

This meeting marked their second matchup of the season, following an 8-6 loss to the Monarchs the previous day, Friday, March 13.

Hill gave up four earned runs across three innings, with two walks and a single strikeout.

The Knights are set to face the Methodist Monarchs again at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Armstrong-Shelley Field.
