Ace Hardware-Brigham City to give away American flags

Ace Hardware-Brigham City will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Utah lost 112 soldiers in the Korean war and 243 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 220 N Main St, Brigham City will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW George Gidney Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware-Brigham City while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.
