2.7% of citizens unemployed in Box Elder County in 2021

Box Elder County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 711 people out of the 56,891 living in Box Elder County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Box Elder County has decreased compared to the 3.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Box Elder County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 26,092 people who had a job during that time, 59 were employed in the Armed Forces and 26,033 belonged to the civilian labor force.
