Utah State and Villanova to meet in NCAA Tournament first round on March 20

Utah State men’s basketball will face Villanova in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 20, at Viejas Arena in San Diego, California. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:10 p.m. Mountain Time and will be broadcast nationally on TNT.

This matchup features Utah State as the ninth seed in the West Region and Villanova as the eighth seed. The winner of this game will advance to play either top-seeded Arizona or sixteenth-seeded LIU on Sunday, March 22.

The tournament schedule for Friday also includes Arizona versus LIU at 11:35 a.m., St. John’s against UNI at 5:10 p.m., and Kansas facing Cal Baptist at 7:45 p.m. Games will be televised on TNT and CBS.
