Utah State Athletics announced on April 13 that the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum will undergo significant seating changes starting with the 2026-27 men’s basketball season. The adjustments are set to coincide with the Aggies’ move to the Pac-12 Conference and aim to improve fan experiences and offer more ticket opportunities.
The new plan includes adding about 50 courtside seats in front of sections K, L, and M. The media section in section L will be moved to the top of that section, which will create additional premium seating options for fans. These modifications are intended to open up more prime-section seats by changing how trade partner and visiting team complimentary tickets are allocated.
In collaboration with HURD leadership, student seating will shift from sections K, L, M, and N to sections C through J. The top nine rows of section K will remain reserved for students while the first ten rows of sections C and D will stay available for public purchase in line with Pac-12 guidelines. Utah State officials said several options were considered before settling on a final plan that keeps student supporters together while increasing their overall seat allocation compared to previous years.
Fans affected by these changes can expect direct communication from an Aggie Relationship Manager via phone or email. Season ticket holders impacted by the relocation will receive priority access when selecting new seats during an exclusive one-week window determined by Big Blue Club points. For those not affected by these shifts, renewals for men’s basketball season tickets begin April 28 and run through June 12. Details regarding new seat selection events are expected before June, with order based on Big Blue Club point totals as of June 22.
Officials say these updates allow athletics to enhance fan experiences while keeping any increase in season ticket prices limited across the venue. Payment plans are available for those who renew before May 1, allowing costs to be spread over several months provided all balances are paid by June 30.
Last year saw Utah State men’s basketball sell out its season tickets; if any become available this year after renewals conclude, they will go on sale in July.
