Utah State football will begin its spring practice on March 17, according to a March 16 announcement from the university. The practices, led by second-year head coach Bronco Mendenhall, will be closed to the public.
The five-week spring schedule includes 15 practice sessions and will conclude with a Spring Showcase on April 18 at noon. This event will allow fans to watch the team and interact with players. Media availability for coaches and players is available upon request.
Utah State returns nine starters and a total of 24 letter winners from last season’s team, which finished with a 6-7 record and participated in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The Aggies also welcome back several redshirts and additional returning players from the previous year. Notable returners include senior safety Brevin Hamblin and senior inside linebacker Bronson Oleavo Jr., both of whom received honorable mention All-Mountain West honors last season.
The program has added 39 newcomers for the upcoming season, including 27 four-year transfers who have combined for over 500 games played and more than 200 starts in their careers. Among these newcomers are four players who previously earned all-conference recognition at their former schools.
Looking ahead, Utah State opens its fall season on September 5 against Idaho State and begins Pac-12 play at Boise State on October 3. Season ticket renewals are now open, with various pricing options available for fans, including family plans and value tickets starting at $99. The athletic department has also launched the “Show Me” initiative as it prepares for its move to the Pac-12 Conference.
