Utah State head men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson announced on May 5 the signing of junior college center Bron Roberts, who will join the Aggies as a sophomore for the 2026-27 season after playing at Snow College.

Roberts is expected to add depth to Utah State’s roster following his performance at Snow College, where he helped lead the Badgers to a 29-5 record and a Region 18 runner-up finish. The team also reached the second round of the National Junior College Athletic Association National Tournament during his season in Ephraim.

During his freshman year, which was cut short due to injury, Roberts appeared in 16 games with eight starts. He averaged 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting nearly fifty percent from the field and forty percent from three-point range. His top performance included a double-double with twenty points and eleven rebounds against Western Nebraska Community College.

Roberts is originally from Lindon, Utah, and played high school basketball at Timpanogos High School before transferring to Pleasant Grove High School for his senior year. Over his prep career, he scored more than seven hundred points and earned all-state honors in both his junior and senior years.

Before enrolling at Snow College, Roberts served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Spain. Fans can follow updates about Utah State men’s basketball through their official social media channels.
