Utah State University announced that 10 of its track and field student-athletes have been named to the 2026 Indoor Track & Field All-Mountain West team. The announcement was made by the Mountain West Conference on Wednesday. The honor is given to athletes who finish in the top three of their events at the Mountain West Indoor Championships.
Utah State’s total of 10 honorees ranks fifth among conference schools, following New Mexico, Colorado State, Air Force, and Grand Canyon.
The list of Utah State honorees includes seniors Ernest Green, Logan Hammer, Marshall Rasmussen, and Javin Richards; junior Landon Bott; sophomores Jayden Holdsworth, Ayodele Ojo Jr., and Taite Priestley; and freshmen Tayshaun Ogomo and Caleb White.
Logan Hammer won his third consecutive Mountain West indoor title in men’s pole vault with a clearance of 5.50 meters (18-0.5). Marshall Rasmussen earned bronze in the same event by clearing 5.15 meters (16-10.75).
The men’s distance medley relay team—composed of Bott, Green, White, and Holdsworth—finished second with a time of 9:40.32. This result marks the fourth straight season Utah State has received all-conference honors in this event and is the second-fastest time in school history.
Freshman Tayshaun Ogomo secured silver in the men’s 800 meters with a time of 1:53.64 for his first career medal at Utah State.
Ayodele Ojo Jr. took silver in the men’s 60 meters with a time of 6.64 seconds, marking his second career silver medal at the conference meet.
Taite Priestley earned bronze in high jump for the third time as an Aggie after clearing 2.13 meters (6-11.75).
Javin Richards claimed bronze in the men’s heptathlon with a score of 5,457 points—the fifth conference medal of his career but his first in this event.
Looking ahead, Bott, Hammer, and Ojo will compete at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships scheduled for March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The team’s outdoor season will begin at the Utah Tech Invitational in St. George next weekend.
