In the week ending Jan. 3, one gas station in Cache County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $3.03 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.26 per gallon for diesel gas.
Cache County had 22 of 32 reported gas stations offering diesel gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in Utah was $3.24, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
